Funny! Hot Dog Themed Nintendo Switch Controller

Hyperkin, a video games manufacturing and distributor company from the United States, has once again made a cute and unique game controller. In collaboration with a food company, they created a Hot Dog themed Nintendo Switch controller design.

Previously, Hyperkin had made many game controllers with attractive designs from food brands such as Kraft Mac & Cheese, Heinz, Oscar Mayer, Kool-Aid, and Sriracha.

Reporting from Gizmochina, Wednesday (31/1/2024) the Nintendo Switch controller has a transparent body that is reminiscent of the old N64 controller, featuring red and yellow colors and the addition of curved lines as ‘sauce’ which are the characteristics of Hot Dog food.

Previously, Hyperkin has produced Tetris and Miraculous Ladybug themed controllers, but this is their first foray into the culinary sector. Unfortunately, for fans of multiple consoles, this delicious controller is made only for Switch, PC, and mobile gaming. They are not planned for Xbox or PlayStation compatibility.

For those who like a mix of food and fun, this controller offers a new way to spice up your gaming to make it fun and exciting.

List of PS4, PS5, Xbox, PC and Switch games released in February 2024

The month of January is quite memorable for gamers. Several new games have been released and can be said to have interesting gameplay. For example, there are Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Tekken 8, and Palworld.

The quality presented by these four cannot be doubted. Many players are satisfied with the game concept offered by the developer.

Even now, praise for the titles above is still pouring in. But I don’t know what the future holds, considering that every month game companies in the world often introduce their new games.

Maybe currently all gamers are focused on Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Tekken 8, and Palworld. Because the four of them were recently launched, on January 18, 19 and 26 to be precise.

AI and the Future of the Gaming Industry, Can it Open New Jobs?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not completely a threat. Its sophistication can be used to have a positive impact. Maybe one of them opens up new job opportunities. Well, how is that possible?

This may no longer be just a dream, but could become a reality. Because AI still needs human contribution to make it smarter.

Agate’s Chief Strategy Officer, Cipto Adiguno, said that one of them is becoming a creator to train AI. So this creator no longer creates images or other assets for the game being developed.

“The problem is that now AI has prompts. The prompts don’t always use words, sometimes the prompts use images. And maybe what is needed is not a person who creates the final image, but someone who makes the image or makes multiple prompt to train the AI,” said Cipto to Game Station at the Agate Office, Bandung, Tuesday (16/1/2024).

According to him, AI is just a tool. He is very confident that in the future this technology will have a positive impact, depending on how people use it.

“Either he makes the development process easier or makes it possible for new types of games that were previously impossible (to exist),” he explained.

He only reminded that it didn’t seem like things would go smoothly. This means that there is a transition that must be passed, and there may be resistance. Even so, Cipto is confident that in five to ten years this can be achieved.

Furthermore, he added that Agate itself has tried to implement AI in several of its games. It’s just that Cipto said that the results are often not very visible.

“So that’s actually a good thing. So you can’t tell which ones actually have AI interference and which don’t,” said Cipto.

Cipto also explained that Agate uses AI to look for references, or change the screen format from portrait to landscape. He continued, that they trained this technology with their own images, so that the format could be adjusted.

“So, he’s already filled it. We just need to change it a little. But this is faster,” he explained.

Even though AI is so sophisticated, Cipto said it will still take a long time for this technology to replace humans. Even before that happens, it is possible to shift the role of AI, so that people operate it as a tool only.

“It’s no longer something that’s scary to replace, but it’s just part of the process, part of the tools used,” he concluded.

The Evolution of Call of Duty (CoD) : A Journey Through Gaming Excellence

Since its inception in 2003, the Call of Duty (CoD) franchise has become a household name, synonymous with intense first-person shooter (FPS) gameplay, gripping narratives, and groundbreaking multiplayer experiences. Developed by various studios under the umbrella of Activision, Call of Duty has evolved significantly over the years, captivating millions of gamers worldwide. In this article, we’ll explore the evolution of the Call of Duty series, highlighting its key milestones and contributions to the gaming industry.

The Beginning: Call of Duty (2003):

Call of Duty made its debut in 2003, introducing players to the brutal realities of World War II. Developed by Infinity Ward, this initial installment laid the foundation for what would become one of the most successful gaming franchises of all time. Call of Duty set itself apart with its realistic approach to war, immersive graphics, and a compelling single-player campaign that emphasized teamwork and historical accuracy.

Modern Warfare Series: A Game-Changing Shift (2007):

In 2007, Infinity Ward took a bold step by shifting the series into modern times with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. This installment marked a significant departure from the historical settings of its predecessors, ushering in a new era of contemporary warfare. The game’s riveting story, combined with the introduction of iconic characters like Captain Price, resonated with players and set a new standard for the FPS genre.

Expanding the Franchise: Treyarch and Black Ops (2010):

Treyarch, another key developer under the Call of Duty umbrella, made its mark with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops in 2010. The Black Ops series introduced a gripping narrative with mind-bending twists and turns, alongside a diverse set of multiplayer maps and modes. Treyarch’s contributions added depth to the franchise, catering to different player preferences and expanding the overall Call of Duty experience.

Advanced Warfare and the Rise of Exoskeletons (2014):

Sledgehammer Games joined the fray with Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in 2014, bringing a futuristic twist to the series with the introduction of exoskeletons. This installment introduced enhanced mobility, verticality, and futuristic weaponry, offering a fresh take on the traditional Call of Duty formula. The inclusion of exoskeletons added a layer of strategy and dynamism to multiplayer gameplay.

World War II Revisited: Call of Duty Returns to its Roots (2017):

In response to fan demand for a return to its historical roots, Call of Duty: WWII was released in 2017, taking players back to the iconic setting of World War II. Sledgehammer Games delivered a visually stunning and emotionally charged narrative, rekindling the essence of the original CoD while leveraging modern gaming technology.

Warzone: A Battle Royale Revolution (2020):

In 2020, Call of Duty entered the battle royale arena with the release of Call of Duty: Warzone. Developed by Infinity Ward and Raven Software, Warzone offered a massive, free-to-play battle royale experience set in the expansive and familiar world of Modern Warfare. Warzone not only became a sensation in its own right but also demonstrated the franchise’s ability to adapt and innovate in response to emerging trends in the gaming industry.

The Call of Duty franchise has come a long way since its humble beginnings, evolving with the gaming landscape and consistently delivering high-quality experiences. From the trenches of World War II to the futuristic battlefields of advanced warfare, CoD has maintained its relevance by pushing boundaries, embracing change, and staying true to its core principles of immersive storytelling and adrenaline-pumping multiplayer action. As the series continues to evolve, one can only anticipate what thrilling experiences the future holds for this iconic gaming franchise.

Very Sophisticated! PS5 Joystick Can Now Drive Afeela Electric Cars

Sony showed something extraordinary at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, United States. Because the PS5 controller, namely DualSense, can apparently be used to drive Afeela car.

This sophistication was demonstrated directly by Izumi Kawanishi, Boss of Sony Honda Mobility. At that time he wanted to show off an electric car created by Sony and Honda, which was named Afeela.

The feature-rich DualSense controller remotely pilots Afeela to bring her to center stage. Then the headlights illuminated the dark stage, and the camera installed in the cabin proved that the vehicle did not have a hidden driver.

However, here Kawanishi immediately clarified that the sophistication of the DualSense that he showed was merely a technology demo. The aim is to show that the software can determine new functions and values, as reported by Game Station from Gamerant, Thursday (11/1/2024).

Apart from being able to drive with DualSense, Kawanishi also wants to highlight the artificial intelligence (AI) he embedded in Afeela. This technology can be used to help drive the car automatically.

Afeela The Car Control By PS5 Joystick

Not only that, Afeela is also equipped with an Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) Simulator, which runs Epic Games’ game engine, namely Unreal Engine 5. Its role here is to display a road map with three-dimensional (3D) visuals.

The trick of presenting Afeela with DualSense certainly impresses people. How could it not be, this is like the opposite of PlayStation’s technology, namely PSVR2. Instead of presenting an immersive virtual world, Sony actually shows directly how sophisticated its hardware (DualSense) is in the real world.

Some people might be a little disappointed, because the ability to control a car with a PS5 controller is just a demo, not for real sale. But from here people can see that DualSense has a variety of functions that can be integrated apart from playing games.

Viral on TikTok, War Veteran Good at Playing Battlefield 2042

Good seems to be the right word to describe this gamer’s abilities. However, it wasn’t just his skill that made him go viral, there was something else.

How could it not be, the gamer’s age is currently 71 years old. The gamer in question is a shooting game streamer. He is usually known as GrndPaGaming.

GrndPaGaming said he did not want to reveal his real name. He said this was done to avoid harassment.

Furthermore, netizens were excited by him, because Grandpa uploaded a short video, showing his prowess in playing Battlefield 2042. There he repeatedly got a headshot (a technique for killing an opponent by shooting the head).

Of course, after the FYP video on TikTok, many netizens gave various reactions. Most of them praised his skill in playing this shooting game made by DICE, which was published by Electronic Arts.

In fact, quite a few Indonesian netizens also commented on TikTok. One of them, from an account called Rois, thinks that this grandfather is better than himself.

“His aim is really hard. It’s different from me, whose aim is bad,” he said.

Until this news was written, the 50 second video had received more than 7.8 million views, 578.9 thousand likes, commented on by 5,058 people, and the content was saved 45.8 thousand times. It is likely that the numbers will continue to increase.

The Veteran Never Wrong

It seems that his greatness is a legacy of what he did when he was young. GrndPaGaming revealed that he had served in the United States Navy for 20 years.

During that time, he served in several regions such as Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Guam and Palembang. Therefore, his military background became the source of his grandfather’s love for first person shooter games.

Some of the games he likes include Fallout 4, Armored Warfare, World of Warships, World of Tanks, The Witcher 3, Battlefield 1, 2, 3 & 4, League of Legends, Doom and The Division, Apex Legends.
