Breaking records, “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2” sells 2.5 million copies a day

With total game sales reaching 2.5 million copies, Spider-Man 2 beat the record for the game God of War Ragnarok (2022), which sold 5.1 million copies in its launch week. Sales figures were not disclosed on the first day of release.

Before Spider-Man 2 and God of War Ragnarok, the previous record for fastest sales was held by The Last of Us Part 2 (2020), with more than 4 million copies sold in the three days since its release.

There is also Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018) with 3.3 million copies sold in three days.

Seeing this positive response, PlayStation expressed its appreciation through posts on social media X (formerly Twitter).
